The Ally Financial Story
In 1919 a company was started to help facilitate the purchase of a new bit of technology taking over America. This piece of technology was so revolutionary that it not only took over the country but transformed it. Further down the road in 1929 and 1930, the United States hit the biggest road block in its young life: the Great Depression.
Nobody could find work, the economy was faltering, people were starving and homeless at unprecedented levels, and those that lived during those times tell tale of worrying about America's collapse. Thankfully, President Franklin D. Roosevelt had perhaps one of the most brilliant ideas in American history with regards to not only keeping our country afloat but allowing us to reach the levels of consumerism found in today's world: via public works and activities of the like, folks across our great land were given jobs that needed to be done, jobs that nobody thought we had the time for previously, and jobs that paved the way for this bit of technology we discussed to start.
The automobile revolutionized this country and pulled it out of the darkest parts of our history. Just take a look around you. Where are the McDonald's chain restaurants? Where are the gasoline stations? Where are the supermarkets, the super malls and the mini malls, and the like? They are all at the very tip of the Interstate Exits across the country, and there is a very real reason for that: cars equal transportation, transportation means convenience, and strategic placement of these stores and such are convenient.
In 1919, Ally Financial, at the time and until the recent months called GMAC, allowed folks from all walks of life the chance to get into the vehicle of their dreams, be it a Ford Model T in black, black, or black, or a new 2011 Chevrolet Cruze LTZ. Without such a business on hand with the purpose of vehicular convenience all of this wouldn't be possible, dating straight back to that which pulled us out of such a horrid phase of American history.
Ally Financial's mission statement is simple: to provide affordable financing to customers who wish to buy a Chevrolet or General Motors car, truck, SUV, or minivan. Not only do they aim to give you a great finance rate that fits your needs but their desires lie in understanding the customers needs before all else--and this is clearly something that bodes well for you.
