More Adventures on Our Harleys

For the very first time, my wife and I were able to take a few days off to experience the Laconia, NH Motorcycle Rally, instead of the single get-up-early-and-stuff-everything-into-one-day marathon we usually do.

Starting out early on a beautiful day, we rode mostly secondary roads from western Vermont to central New Hampshire, straight through to scenic Lake Winnipesaukee.  The trip itself only took about three and a half hours at the leisurely pace with which…

My Pre-Owned Amazement

So being a bit shorthanded at work with one of our go-to-does-everything and then some guys out, I had to take some Used Car pictures the other day (Monday).  I thought it would be a good thing to let you all know about, since I've never had the luxury of driving these beauties around too often.

And that's what this is all about folks:  these great used vehicles at Handy Chevrolet.  It was…

2011 Volt Test Drive by Carsessions.com

Carsession.com, a vehicle rating and reviewing website that test drives all makes and models of all sorts of vehicles got the chance to test drive a 2011 Chevrolet Volt this weekend, and the results turned out very nice.

I think a great deal of people's concern lies within that of the unknown--this new electric-vehicle craze of which we're on the horizon is undoubtedly going to have some folks in a tiff, but…

The End of the Cobalt's Production

Well today is a sad day, my friends:  I am looking at buying a Cobalt from Handy Chevrolet, and I posted on Handy Chevrolet's Facebook fan page that yesterday, June 23, 2010, the last 2010 (or any year) Chevrolet Cobalt was assembled in entirety, and the line has officially been switched to the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze which is hitting it's manufacturing stride as I write.  RIP Cobalt, we loved thee.

Well, I guess not everyone "loved" the Cobalt perse.  I think it was popular enough, as sales were rather well in its brief lifespan of six model years…

Chevy or Chevrolet?

I found this to be an odd story; Chevrolet released an interoffice memorandum in regards to use of the name Chevy.  It happened a couple weeks back, and there was an uproarious hassle as fallout, but I think the customers took it the wrong way.  Well, I don't think, I know, as far as anyone can know what's released as "official word."  Nonetheless, I have no reason to distrust the head of marketing…

Summer Daze

It seems like every time summer rolls around, we methodically compose a list of what we, "have to do," "should do," and, "what we'd like to do." Most often, these lists are full of wishful thinking. Oftentimes, we plan to visit the gym every night, or plan to start a diet. Or, we plan to travel overseas to visit some foreign island that's only selling point is its white sand.

But as of…

More Good News About the Volt... Is It Ever Bad?

So I published a story on Facebook today about more Government incentives in regards to the Chevrolet Volt.  You may remember that I had written blogs and posted articles before about the likelihood of getting a $10,000 tax rebate for those of you lucky enough to purchase a 2010 Chevrolet Volt this fall when they release as part of an effort to instill alternative fuels int he minds of the consumer masses.

You may remember a short while later I mentioned the possibility in some large areas of having access to the car pool lanes even with single occupants…

2011 Chevy Camaro V6

The 2011 Camaro is almost ready for the next wave of Camaro fans who want to head into Chevrolet Dealers, signing up for test drives of the classic muscle car.

2011's Camaro is getting a small price bump of $350 for the 2LT and 2SS models, as well as a power and torque bump.

The 2010 model car was officially rated at 304 bhp with torque peaking at 273 lb-ft. However, as the engine…
The 2011 Chevrolet Cruze hopes to be the next major 4-door sedan to help an already growing GM line-up of family friendly cars. In production for almost two years, the time for Cruze has finally arrived, and official pricing has been divulged.

Starting later this year, you can pick up at 2011 Cruze sedan for a beginning MSRP of $16,995 - US base price. This is for the LS trim model.

Potential buyers of the…
