Continuing a long history of safety, the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu has earned Top Safety Pick status from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
Winning that status has become almost the price of entry for vehicles that want to be sold and sold well, particularly for family cars these days. To achieve the IIHS top pick, the vehicle must get the top score of "Good" in the IIHS crash tests which are tougher than the federal tests and include front, side, rear, rollover crash tests, and a roof-strength test in the rollover in which the roof must be able to withstand four times the vehicle's weight.
Interested in a new Chevy Malibu? Check out our Malibu inventory online, comprised of 2013 Chevy Malibu Eco sedans and 2012 Chevy Malibus. And speaking of which, keep in mind the 2012 model got a top pick award as well, however due to the quick timeframe between the 2012 and 2013's release the new Malibu Eco overshadowed it's slightly younger sibling.
Email our sales team for details on either of these top-picked family sized sedans.
