Baseball, hot dogs, apple pie, and Chevrolet...

Little League Baseball benefits millions of children each year and, in America, it has become just as much a sign of spring as budding trees and - in Vermont - muddy roads.  Spring also marks the start of the Chevrolet "2012 Diamonds & Dreams" program which - each week - awards winning communities with a refurbished ball field through July 22nd.

"Every young person wants and deserves a 'dream' baseball diamond, and we offer them a chance to get one…

With springtime just around the corner, and with the beautiful weather comes something as American as Chevy, apple pie, and the stars and stripes:  baseball.

As you may know Chevy is a proud sponsor of Major League Baseball, but their love for the game doesn't end there.  Chevrolet Motors has now proudly put together a youth program called Chevy Youth Baseball, a now six-year program established to develop a positive relationship between local dealers…

The American Cancer Society, a longtime advocate of both finding a cure for cancer and giving unrivaled support to victims of the widespread disease, recently received a matching donation of $1,339.

With this additional funding Handy Chevrolet and other contributing businesses have aided the American Cancer Society in continuing operations that have brought hope to millions of Americans including:

Getting Those Patriotic Juices Flowing

Well folks Memorial Day has come and gone, and to all of you who made it to the St. Albans, VT Memorial Day parade (or whichever you attended in your town and/or county), thank you for showing your support.  As the years have passed since the 9/11 terrorist attack and tragedy in New York City, it seems that things have cooled down in terms of those ever-flowing patriotic tendencies, but it's all…

General Motors to the Rescue

Following the deadly swipe of tornadoes in Alabama on April 27th, General Motors has begun to take action!  Chevrolet Motors has donated twelve brand new 2011 Chevrolet Silverado trucks to the United Way Foundation to help with the recovery and reconstruction efforts in the damaged communities.

If that isn't commitment, I don't know what is--but GM didn't settle with only doing this.  The General Motors foundation also made a $100,000 cash…
