THE HANDY FAMILY OF DEALERSHIPS CONTINUES THE FIGHT AGAINST BREAST CANCER Handy Toyota & Handy Chevrolet of St. Albans, VT enters the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk
SAINT ALBANS, VT - The Handy Family of Dealerships, also known as handycars.com and comprised of Handy Toyota (handytoyota.com) and Handy Chevrolet (handychevy.com), both of St. Albans, VT, has...
I cannot really believe it as it has been one, fun, fast blur, but I have already worked at Handy Chevrolet for about 6 months now. In that time, I'd like to think I have a pretty good idea as to how well a family-owned and operated dealership can function, but more importantly it's unique when compared to a large chain dealership.
First of all and perhaps most impressive, owner Dan Handy is…
Well, folks, what can I say? As Handy Toyota sales
manager Steve Courville puts it, "don't write about me!"
Sorry, Steve, that won't count, I promise, as it was only in
passing. But to what does Steve refer, my friends?
Well that is an interesting story, one that I'll begin with the same
story I told Steve.
As any of you who knows
my family--the Dugan's of Swanton, VT--you know my…
Well Saturday was absolutely awesome to say the least! In case you weren't aware or didn't sign up for the sweepstakes, Handy Chevrolet took part in the North Country Chevrolet Spring Sweepstakes, and Saturday May 21st was the official drawing for all of the New England region Chevrolet dealers. These events are always kind of a big deal for us here at Handy Chevrolet, not only because we get to spend a chunk…
Hello Handy Chevrolet fans, my name is Jason Rodriguez, the newest addition to the Handy Chevrolet family and the newest member of the ever-growing internet department. The best part about Handy Chevrolet (so far that is, as I've only worked here for two weeks) other than the state of the art facility is how welcome you feel when you walk into the dealership. I feel like I have worked here for years as opposed?
I posted a blog (on my day off! Yes, I'm committed, or crazy) about my favorite Christmas memory that you may or may not have read. It was posted on our Word Press blog site, wordpress.com/handychevrolet and I explained that my favorite Christmas memory revolved around the year I got my Super Nintendo-the very first console I ever owned all to myself without having to share it with my sister and two…
It feels good to be back at Handy's now that I've just finished up my first semester at Clarkson University. For me the pleasure of returning was two-fold: not only did I have a heavy workload for my major (mechanical engineering) and a well deserved respite from it, but I also decided to tackle Army ROTC on top of that. So after four months of nothing but mathematics and early morning Physical Training (PT) sessions, I finally made it back to St. Albans and to Handy's... thankfully in one piece!
You would think that when I complain the heavens would listen! Alas, they do not.
Even with my rant about the changing of the weather to and fro, it's happen once again. Yesterday it was colder than sin outside after a somewhat tolerable Sunday. What's more, we already had our first batch of freezing rain! I got home from lunch and fell right on my butt. That made me happy naturally, as now…
Here it comes Handy Fans? the yearly gripe about the weather.
Before we begin, let's agree-and since I'm writing, we are in agreement-that there are generally two types of Vermonters. On the one hand you have the folks that love the changing seasons, love the winter and summer equally, or something along those lines. These people I like to call true Vermonters. You also have a second type of Vermont resident who, every?
This past Saturday was my 26th birthday, and a great one at that. I got tons of birthday wishes, something I don't generally like too much (I always operated under the notion that birthdays are kind of lame and that if anyone deserves credit on October 9 for anything relating to my birth it's my mother; heck, I didn't do anything), but perhaps another year wiser has lessened my quarrel with the annual milestone. Unlike some I know, I didn't marvel at my yearly greatness; on the contrary, it was just nice to humbly accept the…
