In all honesty there is only ONE way to keep your General Motors or Chevrolet vehicle running in premium condition - the answer is scheduled maintenance.  That's why Handy Chevrolet's GM Certified Service Center has two separate maintenance schedules for varying mileage and needs at those different intervals, conceptualized to keep your GM vehicle running in the absolute best way that it can.  Not only does scheduled maintenance as per your vehicle's Owner Manual keep your vehicle running in mint condition, but it can also prevent costly auto repairs down the road or, worse, keep you from getting stranded somewhere at an inopportune time (as if there's ever an opportune time...).

Maintenance I is just as it sounds, the first round of two separate maintenance packages provided by Handy Chevrolet's GM Certified Service technicians using only General Motors factory-trained procedures and genuine GM parts.

Maintenance I includes the following timely services* that keep your Chevrolet, GM, or other vehicle in top shape:

• Engine oil and filter is changed, including up to six quarts of the oil type recommended in your Chevrolet's Owner Manual
• The vehicle's Oil Life System (OLS) is reset (if present)
• Our technicians visually inspect for any leaks or damage
• The vehicle's tires are inspected and rotated as necessary, tire pressure is adjusted to optimal levels, and the tire pressure monitoring system is reset if needed/available.  Your vehicle's tires are also checked for any excess wear, cracking, etc.
• The brake system gets a complete inspection including brake lines, hoses, brake pads, brake calipers, wheel cylinders, rotors, and drums
• Vehicle fluids are inspected and topped off as necessary
• Wiper blades are inspected and may be replaced upon approval of the patron
• Key vehicle components are lubricated including the front suspension, ball joints, steering linkage, and parking brake cable

For those of you with a Chevrolet, GM, or other truck containing a diesel Duramax engine and an Allison transmission, the following will be inspected:

• Inspection of external control-main filter
• Replaced as necessary for extra cost upon approval of the customer
