Safe Lease Excess Wear and Tear Protection

Safe Lease® Wear and Tear Protection at Handy Chevrolet of St. Albans
Leased Vehicle Service Contracts in VT - Serving Burlington and Plattsburgh

Safe Lease® Wear and Tear Protection from Safe Guard® and Handy Chevrolet of St. Albans, VT does one thing above all else:  it gives you peace of mind when driving off Handy Chevy's 699 Highgate Road dealership lot in your newly leased Chevrolet vehicle.  Leasing a Chevy vehicle should be a care free and enjoyable alternative to purchasing or financing a Chevrolet vehicle - you should not have to worry every tenth of a mile if you are going to have to pay extra at the end of your lease term just because of a few dings, dents, and scratches, especially if those minor blemishes are caused by another careless individual or the equally careless pebble and thus not in your control.

To put it simply, when you turn in your leased car, truck, SUV, or minivan at the end of your vehicle lease agreement you will be responsible for excess wear on the vehicle, and this "excess wear" can be caused by a variety of circumstances.  If you opt for the Safe Lease® Wear and Tear Protection plan often times you can forgo these annoying and frustrating problems at the end of your lease.

Take a moment to view the covered areas below, and if you would like to set up an appointment with our finance manager Reg Howard, send him an email or simply call him toll-free at 888-295-5380.

Thanks to Safe Lease® Protection Plans, short term new Chevrolet and used car ownership has never been smarter... or safer!

Vehicle Lease FAQs

After viewing our monthly lease specials, learning about leasing a Chevrolet, and viewing the Safe Lease® information to the right are you still not sure whether you want to lease a Chevrolet from Handy Chevrolet in St. Albans, VT?  Take a look at these frequently asked questions regarding leases for additional information.  For other FAQ topics, check out our Frequently Asked Questions page.

Q:  Why should I lease a Chevy in VT?  I heard it was a rip-off!
A:  In the "old days" you might have been right.  Leasing has gained a bad connotation from the previous generation's antics in the automotive industry, whereby you would essentially be "renting a car long term" and you would never really own it.  In today's auto industry, there are actually full laws in place that keep you from, as stated above, getting "ripped off," such as setting a residual price at the beginning.  Short of damages, nothing can change this end value, meaning when you sign the paperwork you know exactly what your car will be worth after the lease term!

Q:  In the end, what's the difference between buying and leasing a Chevrolet?
A:  In short, not a whole lot.  Many of our previous customers have found that after their lease term ends if they purchase the car it comes out to be around the same cost as if they had financed it outright.

Q:  But what if a better car comes out during my lease?<
A:  This is one of the best reasons to lease a Chevrolet in St. Albans!  At the rate today's automotive industry churns out technology, who knows what the 2015 Volt will get for fuel economy?  After three years you can trade in your currently leased Chevy for the newest technology and best efficiency; if you had financed you would still have two years left... before the car was even yours!

Q:  Say I get extra Safe Lease® coverage, what if something breaks?
A:  A majority of our Chevrolet leases at Handy Chevrolet are three years at 1,000 miles a year.  Within this standard timeframe/mileage allowance, your new Chevrolet vehicle is covered under the normal factory warranty!

Q:  Alright, leasing sounds pretty good.  But I drive more than 13,000 miles a year!
A:  Though it is true that we factor in the 3-year/39,000-mile lease term into many lease-related panels such as this, that doesn't mean more mileage cannot be added.  For details, come into Handy Chevrolet's 699 Highgate Road location in St. Albans, VT and talk to finance manager Reg Howard, call him at 888-295-5380, or shoot Reg an email today.
