Handy Chevrolet of St. Albans, VT would like to welcome aboard one of the newest recruits on our sales floor, a real do-anything type of and genuinely good-hearted Seth Fletcher.
Born and raised in Richford, Vermont, Seth will be turning 23 in November of this year. But don't let his youth fool you: Seth has an extensive and colorful background in terms of work history, touching upon everything from customer service to automotive delivery driver, electrician's apprentice to sales, and everything in between.
Commenting upon the fact that he is still within his first couple months here at Handy Chevrolet, Seth had this to say:
"I really feel like this is why I've done well in my short time here," Seth says, touching on the fact that he is within his first couple months here. Because I've done all these things and had such varying jobs, I know how to manage many different types of people. To put it another way, it doesn't matter who you are or where you come from, I'll be able to get down to the personal level that customers desire and not simply treat them like a generic sale."
When Seth isn't busy at work or learning a new trade, there are a few places you are likely to find him - although in these places you'll generally find him in the company of his three best friends.
"I have a group of three friends, and we're always together in our free time," he tells me. "But it's not just 'buddy time,' we're actually teammates within several of our hobbies. We have a water fowl hunting team, a sport I avidly pursue in my down time, and if I'm not at work or hunting we're probably tossing darts. The four of us form a team in a dart league at the Elk's Lodge in Richford."
So what does Seth drive to and fro his fowl-hunting outings and dart
matches? "What else would I drive? My 2011 Silverado Crew Cab!" he
exclaims. "Though I'm a lot like this truck in that it's multitalented
and tough as nails, my
dream vehicle isn't quite a Silverado..." he
trails off with a hint of envy in his eye (and perhaps a twinge of guilt towards his current vehicle's possibly hurt feelings). I turned to see what he was
looking at, and of course it was the 2012 Chevy Camaro 45th Anniversary
Edition. "My Silverado is sweet," he said, "and undoubtedly the only
truck anyone needs in their life. But the Camaro..." he finishes,
poignantly trailing off once more with a lustful look towards the Camaro.
