Chevy recently introduced their new all-electric Equinox SUV. The five-passenger vehicle features stunning futuristic exterior styling elements. On the inside, occupants have a comfortable, spacious interior with abundant technological features, which vary between the five different trim levels.

Chevy Equinox EV Performance

Base 1LT models coming to St. Albans have a single electric motor on the front axle and a battery pack to generate 210 horsepower and 242 pound-feet of torque. The front-wheel drive Equinox EV travels up to 250 miles when fully charged.

Starting with the 2LT level, the SUVs available to consumers in Burlington also offer all-wheel drive vehicle options. Each AWD Equinox EV has a larger battery pack and an electric motor on the front and rear axle.

The upgrade enables the SUV to deliver 290 horsepower and 346 pound-feet of torque while supplying up to 1,500 pounds in towing capability. When fully charged, the new Equinox EV travels up to 300 miles. The vehicles also accelerate across Swanton, from zero to 60 mph in six seconds.

The MyChevy or Ultium Charge 360 app allows Equinox EV owners to plot road trip routes from Plattsburgh by locating all the available charging stations along the way.

Chevy Equinox EV Technological Amenities

The unique exterior of the Equinox EV models features a body-wide LED light bar. Approaching the vehicle from the front or the rear engages animated lighting features. A flat-screen-styled digital instrument panel borders the infotainment system touchscreen, which spans across the front of the dashboard.

Stepping up to the 2LT or the 2RS models equips the vehicle with a power-adjustable driver's seat. Both the front seats and the steering wheel have heating ability.

Advancing up the trim ladder to the 3LT or the 3RS level comes with power-adjustable, heated, and ventilated front seats. The rear seats are also heated and have a climate control system that regulates two zones. An expansive 17.7-inch infotainment touchscreen and a sunroof are optional at the 2LT and 2RS levels and standard at the third tier.
